A frameless glass roof light separates the old house from the new extension and helps to punch daylight deep into the kitchen space. The tall minimal framed glass sliding doors are impressive and link the space to the garden.
The full refurbishment included a space under the stairs designed for a laundry, a raised floor area with useful storage on the first floor. The living room uses a bold choice of dark blue paint to all surfaces including the ceiling helps to create a cosy room with a strong contrast to the light and airy open plan kitchen, dining space.
The master bedroom boasts a projector and cinema screen that retracts into the ceiling and is completely hidden when not in use.
