This larger than average private studio apartment was converted and remodelled to be a 1 bedroom apartment with an open plan kitchen / living space.

Having a separate bedroom that could be shut off from the living space was important to the owner, the bonus of the design being an extra sleeping deck for guests.

The available ceiling heights for the sleeping deck was a challenge – designing a built in bed allowed for the required height to the bathroom below.
